For the convenience of passengers, the railways has launched the ‘Rail One’ app, on which passengers will be able to book tickets as well as complain.

On Rail One, passengers will be able to book monthly season tickets in addition to reserved, general and platform tickets. Along with seeing the live location of trains, they will be able to order food. If needed during the journey, they will also be able to seek help on Rail Madad. All these facilities are available on the Rail One app.
According to Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, Railways has many different apps, which have been upgraded by combining them. The upgraded app has been launched in the name of Rail One. Till now passengers were booking tickets through IRCTC website and app.

General, platform and monthly season tickets were being booked through mobile UTS app. For complaints, Rail Madad app or helpline number 139 was being used. Now all the facilities will be available on Rail One. Rail One app will prove useful in making the facilities of passengers easier.
Rail One App Offers All-in-One Solution
This app will provide all the services from booking of all types of railway tickets to live tracking of trains, filing complaints and ordering food to passengers on a single platform. This effort of the railways will relieve the passengers from the trouble of downloading different apps or visiting the website again and again.
This app has been designed with a user-friendly interface. It is available in many Indian languages including Hindi and English, so that passengers will also get the option to choose the language as per their convenience.

How to do Aadhaar verification
- After downloading the app, click on Register or Sign Up.
- Enter your mobile number and verify with OTP.
- Set MPIN and enter profile information.
- Go to the profile or settings section and select the Aadhaar verification option.
- Enter the Aadhaar number and required information and complete the verification through OTP or biometric.
